Use Final Cut Pro on your iPhone and iPad

Your Final Cut Pro library and media stay on your Mac. Apperture brings the Mac editing window to your iPhone or iPad so you can check the project away from your desk.

Stay close to the edit

Return to the timeline already open on your Mac to inspect a clip or check a background task. You keep the same library and connected media instead of moving the project to another device.

  • Inspect the timeline in your Mac library
  • Review a clip in the viewer
  • Check background tasks and export progress

Use Final Cut Pro on iPad

Final Cut Pro has a native iPad edition. Apperture lets you access the library and timeline already open in the Mac edition, including its connected media. The larger screen makes the viewer and timeline easier to inspect.

Yes — by streaming Final Cut Pro from your Mac with Apperture. The desktop app runs on your Mac; your iPhone or iPad displays its window and sends remote input back.
